Have you ever stopped and wondered what the world would be today without Social Media? The impact that Social Media has on our everyday life is incredibly important. Through Social Media we not only connect with people around the world, but we also enhance our communication and further develop our technological skills. So think for a minute, can the world we live in today do without social media? It is my  personal Opinion that the answer to that question is no.

Think about how many times a day you use any type of social media. The dependence in my opinion will only continue to grow. Social media allows us to use platforms that everyone can use freely. Years ago if there was a riot going on somewhere, it would take people a long time to inform people elsewhere, now that type of information can be shared in seconds.

The amount of information now available to us just through social media is enormous, and has an incredible impact on our society today. The world we live in today needs social media, in my opinion, we have grown to accustomed to the communication and other benefits provided to us by social media.

The way we are accustomed to having social media, is more of a necessity than anything else. I can’t imagine waking up and not having access to all the things that I can find through Social media. In a way you could say, that the world is only a click away. Social media has united the world in the form of communication through technology. Through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media networks we can not only communicate but learn many things through the click of a button.

I think the impact that social media has had in our world today is very important to how the world  functions today. The importance we put on any social media impact shows how dependent we are in this technology.
